Jobbie Nooner Road Rules for Land and Water

1. Designate an alcohol-free driver/skipper BEFORE you start to party.
2. Whether in a boat or a car, NEVER drive drunk.
3. Underage drinking and drug use (marijuana, Nitrous Oxide, GHB, Ecstasy) are illegal and will not be tolerated.
4. Never provide alcohol to anyone under 21.
5. Limit your alcohol consumption. There is no such thing as an attractive drunk.
6. Discourage activities that encourage excessive drinking such as beer bongs, and ice luges.
7. Remember that coffee or water will not sober you up. Only time will. It takes the body over an hour to metabolize a single 12 ounce beer.
8. Include alcohol-free drinks and foods that are rich in protein in your party plans.
9. Remember that the heat and sun amplify the body's reaction to alcohol.
10. Don't hesitate to take away the keys from an alcohol impaired driver/skipper and provide them with a safe ride. You could be saving their life.
11. Never leave your drink unattended.
12. Never accept a beverage that has already been opened.
13. Remember that drunk or sober, sexual assault is a crime wherever it occurs.
14. Have a cell phone readily available in case of an emergency.
15. Have fun, be safe and keep it legal!
